the art projects offer a foray into other forms of artistic expression by petra thalmeier, in addition to her mountain paintings and mountain sculptures. abgeschmolzen shows views of glaciers seen from space, painted on small wooden panels.  the stadtArt project is an attempt to translate archaeological experience into art in order to create a link between the history of a place and its current inhabitants. the artist used self-digged sand and earthcolours to create sand paintings of prehistoric outlines from the landscape of lower bavaria. anisa drawing provides an insight into alpine archaeological projects.
